Discord Server – The Coffee Corner
All subscribers are eligible to join my members-only Discord server: The Coffee Corner. By joining The Coffee Corner, you get even more out of your subscription to my website! This server lets share sneak peeks of upcoming stories, take requests for content directly from you, and share quick updates about fics and my posting schedule. Sometimes I’ll use polls to decide which stories members want me to post first, or which characters you’d like me to use for certain plot ideas.
If you are a Double, Triple, or Nitro Tier subscriber, I also use Discord to chat about what you’d like written for your commissions. It’s super useful for me to be able to keep all my writing notes in one place so I can revisit your ideas easily when I need to while I’m writing.
The Coffee Corner also has chat channels where members can connect with each other and chat about all things fandom, share funny memes or TikTok videos, or anything else you can think of! Discord allows you to create different chats within one server, so you can choose what you want to interact with. If you only want to see the channels related to upcoming content, you can mute all the others. There are also specific channels for NSFW content, so you can choose to engage with those chats, or not, depending on your preferences.
You don’t have to be super chatty or social to join. It’s not a constantly buzzing server, and it’s easy to dip in and out of conversations. There’s no pressure to interact if you are only there for the news updates and the polls. The Coffee Corner is a tool for me and my members to help you make the most of your subscription, so feel free to use it however is most useful for you.

- What is Discord? Discord is a free online service/app that allows you to create group chats organised into topic-based channels where you can collaborate, share, and just talk about your day. You can download the app on your phone, computer, or simply use it via your browser. You can keep all your private information anonymous, and chat using a screen-name or a nickname.
- How do I join? When you subscribe, you receive a link that allows you to join in your welcome message from WordPress. If you need a new link, please fill in the contact form below to request one. You will need a Discord account in order to join the server, it is free to sign up for one.
- I’m not very tech-savvy, is Discord easy to use? In my opinion, it’s a pretty easy platform to get used to for tech newbies. All the chats are labelled down the lefthand side of the screen so you can easily find what you’re looking for. If you have any questions on how it works, all the server members are very friendly and are happy to help out those who are unfamiliar with the app.
- Do I have to join The Coffee Corner when I subscribe? Absolutely not! You don’t need to join if you don’t want to. You’re welcome to join to see if you enjoy it and then leave if you find it’s not for you. No one will be offended! And you can join at any time, just fill in the form below to ask for a link.
